Taylor's scaled-down, GS Mini is an incredible little acoustic guitar that proves more and more popular each year. The exquisite Taylor construction offers you a small, portable guitar that's extra-comfortable to play, which produces a rich, full voice completely belying it's compact size.

Small Body, Solid Mahogany Top, Passive Acoustic Pickup

This particular GS Mini features a solid Mahogany top, with a Layered Sapele back and sides, and an excellent ES-Go electronics system to amplify an accurate representation of your instruments voice to your audience.

The solid-mahogany top of this Taylor GS Mini produces a natural compression, but whilst it's response may not be as quick as a spruce-top guitar it does produce much stronger fundamentals, with clear and direct focus. Perfect for players who like a little extra, earthy punchiness in their tone.

The back and sides of the Taylor GS Mini are of a Layered Sapele construction, which is simply a Sapele veneer on each side of a poplar core. Although layered woods may not produce as complex a sound as a solid wood, in this case it offers an excellent, exotic look whilst remaining environmentally responsible in the preservation of these rarer materials and the trees they come from. When combined with a solid Mahogany top, the resulting voice is harmonically rich, full and effective.

The ES-Go is an aftermarket, passive soundhole pickup that has been engineered specifically for the Taylor GS Mini. This pickup is easy for anyone to install into their GS Mini, and works best when paired with the V-Cable (a Taylor-designed cable that features it's own built-in volume control on the cord).
