With these "Big Single" pickups, Nordstrand have managed to cram as meaty a single-coil magnet as possible into a soapbar sized enclosure, giving you a full-bodied, powerful, aggressive tonal texture, but with the articulate clarity that you'd expect from a single-coil pickup.

This makes the SR2605-CBB perfect for a variety of musical genres, where you need a combination of clear articulation and power rolled into one.

Premium-Grade Electronics

Part of what makes this bass so versatile is the Ibanez 3-band active EQ - allowing you to shape your tone to your heart's desire - complimented by the awesome Mid Frequency Switch. This switch allows you to determine which mid-range frequencies are cut or boosted, offering you a wide variety of tonal variatians that can enhance your playing, regardless of how complex or straightforward it is.

On top of that there's the addition of an EQ bypass switch for those moments where you want to just make use of those pure tones provided by the excellent Nordstrand Big Single pickups.
