Seen here in a Natural Grey Burst finish which shows off the beautiful Spalted Maple top, this 4 string bass guitar has awesome style to match its incredible tone and playability.

Furthermore; as with all the instruments in the Gio range, it has undergone the same rigorous inspection and set-up that Ibanez insist on for their more expensive models.

Craftsmanship

Bringing you that classic SR style, the body of the GSR200SM has been crafted from Mahogany with its deep horn design offering great access to the higher frets; perfect for solos and adventurous bass melodies.

The fretboard is a classic Rosewood featuring white dot inlays and is found aboard a specially designed 34” scale GSR4 neck made of maple.

Electronics with Options

Giving the GSR200SM its great sound is a pair of Dynamix passive pickups in a versatile PJ configuration; a precision pickup in the neck position and a jazz pickup in the bridge position.

To give you full control over your tone you will find four knobs. There are two volume knobs; one for each of the pickups so you can get the balance just right and you’ll also find a control allowing you to adjust the overall tone.

Installed alongside these controls you’ll find a knob for the PHAT II EQ system. The PHAT II EQ is an active bass boost system that adds additional low-end power, giving that extra oomph when you need it.
