The body of the Gibson ES-339 boasts fantatic, old-school while the double cutaway shape granting easy access to the higher frets.

Made from a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple combination and featuring spruce bracing, the Gibson ES-339's body is extremely resonant.

Spruce bracing further enhances the resonance of the Gibson ES-339 while a maple centreblock increases sustain for modern performance.

Single-ply cream binding complements the bright Honey Burst finish , adding to the great looks of this striking semi-acoustic guitar.

Furthermore, with its breathable gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, just like the old models, this Gibson ES-339 will age beautifully.

Attached to the body is a hand-rolled, rounded "C" mahogany neck providing great comfort and playability.

A traditional rosewood fretboard with 22 highly playable medium jumbo frets sits atop the neck.

Classic Gibson ES-339 Tone

A pair of humbuckers power the Gibson ES-339 semi-acoustic guitar's fantastic voice.

With 57 Classic and 57 Classic + humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions respectively.

Paired with a hand-wired tone circuit, these pickups give you that fantastic, versatile Gibson ES tone.

Two volume and two tone controls allow you to set the sound just how you like it while a toggle switch allows you to select between the two pickups or use both at once.

High Quality Hardware

Completing this brilliantly crafted instrument, the Gibson ES-339 is kitted out with high quality hardware throughout.

Up on the headstock, there are six Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons, known for their precise and incredibly secure tuning.

Down on the body, backed up by an aluminium stop bar is an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge.

Since 1954, the ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic bridge has boasted the perfect marriage of simplicity and functionality.

Slotting directly into the Gibson ES-339's body, the ABR-1 bridge features a separate stud and thumbwheel.

As a result, you get a firm seating for your strings and you can easily fine tune your intonation and string height in no time.
