Originally intended for studio musicians who wanted to get fat Les Paul tones in an instrument that could easily be carted about between gigs. The Les Paul Studio has come into it's own with a combination of tone woods and Modern body design offering a distinctive flavour and variation on the classic LP sound.
A stripped back alternative Les Paul, the Studio has all the punch of it's big brother with a lower profile body.
The maple top helps add a little bite too, ideal for the gigging guitarist who needs a serious instrument without a big sting in the wallet. With '57 Humbuckers the tone is rooted in that magic era when Les Paul was perfecting his craft with Gibson, the Les Paul 100 headstock logo commemorates the great man's legacy. Other features of the 2015 model Gibsons include the G Force tuning system, Zero Fret Nut and PLEK setup intonation, helping make the Studio even more versatile and reliable for performance.
Vastly improving on the original Min-ETune system Gibson have developed the fastest and most accurate automatic tuning system yet. The G Force tuners make alternative tunings a breeze and allows you to easily stay in tune while gigging.
The Zero Fret Adjustable Nut improves every aspect of the crucial feel and playability of your Les Paul, allowing easy adjustments to action and improving intonation. Combined with the PLEK setup and G Force you get a beautifully setup guitar that stays tight and in tune at every gig.
Still fitted with Gibson USA '57 pickups, smooth neck and mahogany in the body it's got plenty of the original magic formula when required.
