As a dreadnought style acoustic guitar, the Fender CD-60S produces a deep, rounded tone that’s ideal for strumming styles, rhythm guitarists and anyone that likes to sing and play.
For the top of the CD-60S, solid Spruce has been used. Due to its strength and elasticity, Spruce has a broad dynamic range that’s suitable for all styles of playing.
Since it has a solid top, this acoustic guitar will sound better with age – the more you play it, the more resonant it becomes.
Quartersawn scalloped x-bracing is used in the body of the Fender CD-60S, ensuring a solid build while enhancing resonance and projection.
Easy-to-Play Neck
Making it an ideal first guitar for beginners, the Fender CD-60S features an “easy-to-play” neck.
This Mahogany neck boasts the Fender “Easy-to-Play” shape along with rolled fretboard edges so it’s quick, easy and comfortable to play.
It holds a Walnut fretboard with 20 vintage size frets and offers a great playing experience.
