A direct USB connection allows for easy transfer of custom samples, one-shot sounds and loops from your computer to the SP16. 8GB of onboard memory allows you to manage and store your library without the need to connect to a laptop at all times. Quickly drop sounds into 16-step loops, and then modulate the sounds with the knobs below the touch screen. The buttons change based on the colors assigned to each sound – and you’ll be able to save and play back up to 256 patterns. The velocity-sensitive 16 drum pads open up a world of drum and groove programming on-the-fly, with velocity sensitivity as found on the DDJ controller series.
