New Micro-Processing Unit

Pioneer DJ have revolutionised how the CDJ is driven and made the Pioneer CDJ-3000 smoother and more stable than any that came before.

By equipping the CDJ-3000 with a new micro-processing unit (or MPU), the Pioneer CDJ-3000 has a new level of processing power that allows it to give you new functions that were previously impossible while also opening up the CDJ-3000 to new features via future updates.

Great Performance Features

The Pioneer CDJ-3000 comes to you equipped with a newly redesigned mechanism in the jog wheel. As a result, you get the slickest feeling jog wheel Pioneer DJ have ever made. The touch latency has even been reduced by half compared to the CDJ-2000NXS2. There's also a touchscreen in the centre of the jogwheel which indicates playhead position while displaying artwork to give you a quick visual reminder of which tracks you have loaded on each deck.

Eight Hot Cue buttons are on hand for you to intuitively trigger your hot cues. They have a linear position laid out from left to right underneath the waveform display making it easy to select the cue points according to their position in the track.

There's also a set of dedicated beat jump buttons which you can use to jump backward or forward from the current playback position in the track. You can set the quantised number of beats to a value of 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 beats to make sure it hits just where you want it.

In addition to the popular 4-Beat Loop control found on the CDJ-2000NXS2, the Pioneer CDJ-3000 features an 8-Beat Loop button to take your performance even further. You also have expanded options allowing for odd-numbered loops to get fantastic polyrhythmic loops on the go.

A Key Sync button is on board so you can automatically adjust the key of the incoming track to match the one currently playing on the master deck. There's also a Key Shift function that can be found on the touch screen for you to manually shift the key of a track up or down.

Hi-Res 9" Touch Screen with Brand New Features

The Pioneer CDJ-3000 boasts a 9" high-resolution (HD 1280 x 720) touch screen that has a range of never-before-seen features.

Thanks to Touch Preview, you can listen to any part of a track you want to preview by just touching the waveform where you want to hear from.

You can easily listen to another part of the track that's currently playing, all without the crowd hearing what you're doing by simply touching the waveform thanks to Touch Cue.

With Stacked Waveform, you have an enlarged waveform of the track on the master player along with the one you want to cue up, all there on one screen. This allows you to easily identify mix points while checking the beat grids are lined up at a glance.

Thanks to the Pioneer CDJ-3000's Support for 3Band Waveform, you can see how a track's going to sound without even hearing it! With different colours to indicate the volume of each frequency band in files analysed by rekordbox, 3Band Waveform makes it easy to get an idea for the music by looking at the waveform.

Furthermore, the Pioneer CDJ-3000's maximum screen brightness has been increased by more than 150% compared to the previous CDJ-2000NXS2 making sure you get great visibility in virtually any environment.

Fantastic Flexibility

The Pioneer CDJ-3000 features a Gigabit Ethernet connection that you can use for PRO DJ Link allowing you to share and play audio files from USB devices and SD cards on up to six separate CDJ-3000 units when using a 6-channel mixer (such as the DJM-V10).

Rekordbox-analysed music can be played from your USB drive via Export mode or you can connect your laptop with USB-HID control and use Link Export or Performance mode.

The Pioneer CDJ-3000 also works as a Hardware Unlock device allowing you to use Performance mode for free without the need of a paid subscription plan. As a result, you can play all the tracks in your rekordbox library.

You can connect your iPhone to the CDJ-3000 via USB too and mix music directly from the iOS version of rekordbox with support for lossless file types including WAV, FLAC, ALAC and AIFF along with MP3 and ACC.

With the CDJ-3000 unifying internal audio calculation processing to 96 kHz/32-bit floating in all playable audio formats, you get all the sound you want from the original source.

Furthermore, using the new Pro DJ Link Lightning feature, you can sync your sounds with light. The Pioneer CDJ-3000 transmits phrase analysis information to rekordbox on your PC or Mac so you can control lighting effects via the RB-DMX1 (available separately) for an incredible show.
