The Orange Crush Bass 25w Black blends the portability of a lightweight practice amp with a fully-analogue, 8" driver section for versatile bass tone. Drawing inspiration from the flagship OB1 and 4 Stroke amplifiers, the Orange Crush Bass 25 combines the essentials of a quiet practice rig with the kind of professional tone and features normally reserved for the more exclusive and expensive amplifiers on the market.

Perfect for quiet gigging, rehearsal or home practice

The interactive Gain and Blend controls are primed for creating enormous 'bi-amped'-style tones with ease, adding extra harmonics and variable levels of grit to the core bass tone. They can also be switched in remotely using the optional footswitch. Other handy features include a buffered effects loop, integrated tuner, aux. input and a headphone output with our Cabsim circuitry.

Like the rest of the Crush Bass range, this 25 Watt model delivers bold and punchy lows courtesy of its analogue circuitry and ported cabinetry. The extremely flexible active EQ section includes a sweepable parametric mid band, allowing players to shape their signature sound without limitations.

Powerful Active Parametric EQ

The EQ circuit housed in the Crush 25 is inspired heavily by the prestigious 4 Stroke Series of Orange amps. The parametric mid band presents you with a greater degree of control than you'd get with a more traditional EQ, letting you adjust the frequencies that you want to hear - this covers a wide range of frequencies, allowing you to fine tune the amp to suit pretty much any musical style. And finally there's the active circuitry, which will allow you to boost or cut up to 15dB of mid frequencies and 20dB of the top end.

Blend & Gain

The Blend & Gain circuitry of the Crush 25 is lifted straight from the popular OB1 series of amps, giving you a 'bi-amped' setup with layers of harmonics and distortion normally found in a guitar amp blended in with your core bass tone, giving you an awesome and powerful live sound. You get additional bite and crispness to your sound at lower gain settings, with huge amount of the filthiest filth imaginable with the dials cranked up. You can engage these controls either via the switch on the top panel, or by making use of the optional footswitch.

Analogue Design & Ported Cabinet

True to their heritage, Orange continue to produce products with all-analogue signal paths, helping the Crush 25 to deliver fat, rounded sounds. Housed in the body of the Crush 50 is a 12" speaker with reflex port, designed specifically for an improved low-end response.

CabSim Headphone Output, Aux Input & Chromatic Tuner

The awesome CabSim circuitry featured in the Orange Crush series of bass amps helps you to perfectly emulate the response of the famous OBC bass speaker cabs through your headphones or via a recording desk. With the Aux input too, you can connect external audio devices and play backing tracks through the amp for you to jam along with, and the onboard chromatic tuner makes tuning your bass that bit simpler inbetween jams.
