If you're looking to take a fast ride into the deepest depths of the sonic rabbit hole, then the Old Blood Noise Endeavours Blackcap Harmonic Tremolo could be just what you need!
Dual Asynchronus Harmonic Tremolo
Back in 2019, OBNE released a limited run Blackcap pedal as a one-off special, to offer a more harmonic take on the ever popular whitecap.
Now, due to popular demand, the Blackcap has been made a permanent fixture within the OBNE roster, and we couldn't be happier.
When Analogue Meets Digital
To the right side of the pedal you get the controls for the analog circuit. These controls can take you from slow sways to fligheringly fast tremolo chops with ease.
On the left hand side, you get controls for the digital harmonic circuit. These controls include a tap-tempo switch, and 5 selectable wave shapes, taking you from slow waves to shooting synthy pulses. However, unlike the digital side on the Whitecap (which turns your volume up and down), this circuit crossfades between your highs and lows for an all-new kind of sound.
Each of these circuits can be activated independently, or both can be combined in series or parallel for unique, choppy chain reactions. The digital tremolo can be sync'ed up to the beat of your song, whilst the analog side can add a whole new aural experience to your playing.
In addition to this, you can also hold down the Tap Tempo footswitch to hear your digital circuit glide into a totally new direction, giving you a whole new evolution of sounds to play with.
High Quality Construction
Thanks to its robust enclosure, the Whitecap is pedalboard-ready, and built to survive life on the road.
Crafted using only high-quality components and materials, this pedal is guaranteed to give you the highest sound quality possible, night after night.
