Its 6.5" woofer, located in a bass reflex cabinet, delivers exceptional low-end and high SPL capability while maintaining clarity. The electronics of the KH 150 are DSP controlled, ensuring a linear phase response and enabling room-adaptive calibration through Neumann's innovative MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment.
Boasting the same blueprints as all Neumann studio monitors, the KH 150 comes with the highest linearity, lowest distortion, minimal colouration and exceptional versatility for any acoustic environment.
Key Features:
Mathematically Modelled Dispersion (MMD) - The quality of sound produced by a loudspeaker is limited by the acoustic conditions of the environment it is placed in. Neumann's MMD waveguide technology guarantees a broad "sweet spot" for sound and minimizes reflections from desks.
Linear Frequency Response - The KH 150 stands out from its smaller counterparts with its impressive bass response, which extends down to 39 Hz. This is nearly as low as the larger KH 310, which is achieved through the use of a 6.5" high-precision woofer and a thoughtfully designed bass reflex cabinet. As a result, the KH 150 is particularly well-suited for music genres such as urban, EDM, and film scoring, which require extended low frequencies and higher volume levels.
Room Adaptive Calibration - When used with MA 1, this innovative technology optimises DSP-powered monitors to the specific acoustics and listening position of the room. This results in a significant improvement in sound quality, even in acoustically treated rooms.
