Room Correction DSP - Besides the advancements made to the drivers and amplification of the KH 120 monitors, the latest version is also equipped with DSP that allows for integration with Neumann's MA 1 Monitor Alignment System. This feature aids in optimizing the speaker's linear frequency response by allowing you to customize its settings to suit your room, resulting in reduced interference from unwanted resonances and standing waves while you mix or master.
Efficient Design - The updated Class D amplifier in these studio monitors has been optimized for enhanced efficiency to conserve energy when not actively in use. Although it usually supplies 100 watts of power to the tweeter and 145 watts to the woofer, it consumes just 17 watts when idle. Additionally, in its automatic standby mode, it consumes only a modest 0.3 watts. This feature is particularly advantageous for home studios focused on energy efficiency, as the KH 120-II provides excellent power as needed.
