The MXR Sugar Drive is designed for the guitarist looking to add a little something special to their existing guitar rig. If you're already digging the tone of your guitar and amplifier but feel it's still lacking, the Sugar Drive might be the solution for you.

Looking to add a bit of sweetness to your tone?

Adding more focus and power to your sound the MXR Sugar Drive adds a distinquished flavour using the pedals unique circuit design. The key element at play here are the Drive control and Voltage doubler.

The Drive control replicates the smooth transition of an amp going through the classic breakup stages. It produces a harmonically rich signal that is blended with your clean signal as you turn it up. The voltage doubler increases overall headroom available which opens up a clear and transparent boost. Depending on your mood or genre the flexible drive can be dialled to give you uncoloured boosting to rich, smooth overdrive.

A switchable buffer allows your signal to remain completely untouched when in true bypass mode or, just like the original you can enable the buffered bypassing.

The simple three knob set up and mini footprint this pedal is easy to use and fit on the busiest of pedalboards allowing you to bring the absolute best out of your guitar rig. It is also much more affordable than the original pedal that would cost a small fortune if you were lucky enough to track one down. Whether on stage or in the studio this pedal sounds sweet!
