The MXR MC406 CAE Buffer is the perfect addition to a longer guitar pedal chain that sucks the life out of your guitar tone by the time it hits your amp. Offering up to +6dB of gain to your signal, the MC406 is one of those guitar pedals that any serious guitarist cannot ignore for optimum tone integrity.
A front-facing gain slider and lo/high cut switches allow you to fine tune the volume and help make up for differences in impedance across your pedal board.
Furthermore, a convenient 9vDC power output on the back allows you to daisy chain or supply power to another pedal, and a rugged metal black housing keeps it safe for life on the road.
