The MXR Blackout Series Bass Compressor is a special edition pedal that commemorates 15 years of MXR Bass Innovations. With its sleek matte black housing, gloss black text, and vibrant yellow LED, this pedal not only looks stunning but also delivers exceptional sound and performance.
Just like the original MXR Bass Compressor, this special edition version offers a comprehensive set of controls including Attack, Release, Ratio, Input, and Output. These controls allow you to finely adjust your sound, ranging from subtle peak limiting to intense squashed compression effects.
The pedal's transparency ensures that your full dynamic range is preserved until it reaches the compression threshold, which is clearly indicated by the ten prominent gain-reduction status LEDs. Thanks to the CHT Constant Headroom Technology, you'll have all the headroom you need for a clear and defined performance.
