The eloquent double-cutaway body on this guitar has been crafted from Okoume, and is perfectly balanced for extreme playing comfort.

In addition to this, this particular model also features a Cherry Burst finish over a sophisticated Quilted Maple top, resulting in gorgeous aesthetics to match its incredible tone.

As if that wasn't enough, the premium roasted maple neck is gorgeously figured, durable, and has been carved with a soft "V" profile that is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.

Custom-Wound Pickups

A key aspect of all Steve Lukather signature guitars - from his very first, to his latest - is the incredible tones generated by his choice of pickups.

In this case, Music Man and Steve have gone with a pair of custom-voiced humbuckers - with the Neck pickup housing a Ceramic magnet, and the Bridge pickup featuring an Alnico magnet.

These pickups work perfectly together, offering incredible levels of clarity and sustain, whilst delivering a wide range frequency response - making them ideal for pretty much any genre of music. In addition to this, the 5-way pickup selector offers a pair of Single Coil voicing options, in addition to the familiar 3 humbucker voicing variations.

As if that wasn't enough, the Volume control pot features a Push/Pull boost function, which gives you an extra 12 dB of headroom to play around with, which is perfect for solos.

Bringing all of this together and helping it function as only a Music Man Luke guitar can is an array of high-quality, rock-solid hardware, including a set of locking tuners and a vintage-style floating tremolo.

The Schaller locking tuners, for example, not only offer superb levels of tuning stability, but they also allow for fast and easy string changes when needed too.

In addition to this, the Floating Vintage Tremolo bridge allows you to add subtle-to-outrageous pitch bends to your playing, and sports adjustable saddles for pin-point intonation.
