Having a second guitar on hand when you’re in the studio or on stage is essential. During transit however, carrying two guitars has never been easy.

Mono have set out to provide an elegant solution to this problem that many guitarists face regularly.

The main priority of the dual guitarcase for Mono was that it offers both guitars the level of protection their single M80 case does.

After much research, prototyping and designing the fruits of Mono’s labour is an incredibly lightweight and rugged dual guitar hybrid case.

Drop-Proof

Using the patented “Headlock” design, the M80 dual guitar gigbag has an incredible neck suspension system. Your guitars can be quickly strapped in and remain stable during transport. The neck suspension system protects the headstock and neck from drops, rear and side impact that would normally snap your guitar at the neck.

High density foam bumpers have been used to divert vertical impact out and around the dual guitar case to protect the delicate strap pin area of your guitars.

Integrated ABS panels situated around the M80 dual electric guitar gigbag deliver a level of protection you’d expect from a hardcase but in a lightweight, gig bag design. The reinforced outer shell absorbs impact and deflects it away from vulnerable areas of your guitar.

Smart Storage Solutions

A patented “zig zag” design is used to deliver completely separate cases for each guitar resulting in both headstocks being protected by the patented “Headlock” suspension system and strap pin bumpers. The special “Z-form” design allows for immediate access of either guitar.

Padded shoulder straps have been designed to help spread out the weight of both guitars so that you feel less stress and strain whether you’re walking for long-periods or sprinting through an airport.

Built into the “Headlock” is a clear-window pocket that is great for storing your picks keeping them conveniently close at hand for when you need them.

A specialised storage compartment on the front of the case allows you to store small items such as pedals, strings and tuners for easy and convenient storage. There’s even a cable strap to keep your cables safe and tidy without getting tangled up.

At the upper end of the dual guitar case is a hidden pocket. This is great for storing your wallet or phone. It also has pen slots that works great for pens or small tools. Business card storage and a durable key clip are also included in the secret stash.

Rugged and Built to Last

Mono know that when you buy a new guitar case you want it to last. With that in mind, they have designed their dual electric guitar case to military specs, using high-test materials with extreme resistance to abrasion and the elements.

The exterior of the dual guitar case features a water-resistent “Sharkskin” shell (don’t worry, it’s 100% animal free) while the interior has a plush lining to protect your finish from scratches and abrasions.

The base of the M80 dual guitar case features a hard-wearing sole and piping that has been made of Hypalon. Hypalon is an industrial rubber that is used to create inflatable military rafts and this stuff lasts.

Powder-coated steel zip pulls are used with self-healing nylon zips on all compartments. Double zips have been chosen so that they double the lifespan of each pocket.

In addition to the comfortable shoulder straps, the dual guitar case also includes a solid, industrial webbing handle for carrying. Bar-tack stitching and steel rivets have been used to reinforce the strength of the handle while high-grade webbing provides an extremely comfortable grip.
