The Meinl HCS 14" Crash is an excellent affordable addition to anyones drum rig, this is a medium weight cymbal so it doesnt take much to get it to sing with its dark undertones and bright attack, with its size being 14" its like a powerful splash because of its quick decay or that mid verse crash thats needed that isn't over kill. Why not try utilising this with your 14" hi hats, we recommend when doing so to use it as the top hi hat and your existing top as the bottom for a super tight immediate sound when closed and a super trash vibe when open, something to think and play around with!
