Giving the tone a little more drive than 100% Maple shells, for the Sabre snare, Mapex have used a Maple and Walnut hybrid shell.
With its 6.15mm 7-ply shell, the Armory Sabre snare produces a beautiful balance of warmth, pop and crack.
Precision Tooled Steel Lugs
In order for the Mapex Sabre snare to deliver improved tuning accuracy and shell stability, Mapex have equipped it with precision tooled solid steel Armory tube lugs.
These lugs also add to the elegant yet modern appearance of this great sounding snare drum.
SONIClear Bearing Edge
Enhancing the fundamental pitch while allowing the drumheads to sit flat and offer effortless tuning, the Armory Sabre snare drum is fitted with the SONIClear Bearing Edge.
