Developed In Conjunction With Fumio Media
Amongst the extra goodies on the miniKORG 700FS you will find an arpeggiator, spring reverb, and aftertouch, but no need to worry: the circuitry within is still all-analogue!
Due to its analogue design, the miniKORG 700FS offers the kind of natural character that simply cannot be captured by most modelling DSPs.
To ensure this design is as authentic as possible, Korg have worked alongside Fumio Media - the designers of the original miniKORG 700 synth.
Beautiful Leads, Thick Bass, And More
True to the original design, this synth produces some incredibly fat and dense sounds, as well as housing oscillators with a penetrating voice, and an authentic recreation of the Traveler controller - a key feature on the original release.
If you've ever used the volca keys and volca bass, you may well recognise the clear and penetrating characteristics of the filter within this synth, and it's what their own filter ciircuits are based upon!
Easy To Use Controls
Initially the miniKORG 700 was developed as a sub keyboard that you could set atop an organ to augment your sound - a popular setup during the 1970s - and so the controls were laid out below the keys for easy access.
This intuitive layout is present upon the miniKORG 700FS too, giving it a unique look that no other instrument offers.
Added Functionality
Thanks to advances in technology, the internal components of the miniKORG 700FS are significantly smaller than those on the original, leaving room in the chassis for adding more essential features than ever before.
Amongst tehse features you'll find a spring reverb effect, a joystick for pitch blend and modulation, aftertouch, an arpeggiator, and a host of new inputs (such as USB, MIDI IN and a CV/GATE IN jack socket).
