Not only did legendary sound designer Ben Burtt use the ARP 2600 to voice R2-D2 in Star Wars, he also used this fantastic synth to create the sound of the Ark of The Covenant from Indiana Jones' first film adventure; Raiders of The Lost Ark!

This limited edition ARP 2600 reissue features USB and DIN-style MIDI connections, XLR audio outputs and an improved ARP 3620 Duophonic Keyboard along with an added arpeggiator/sequencer.

Furthermore, the new Korg ARP 2600 comes to you in a custom-branded hard shell case equipped with casters.

A Whole Studio

The ARP 2600 isn't just a synthesizer - it's a whole sound design studio.

You have a great range of oscillators and envelopes along with a filter and amplifier for incredible analog synthesis.

Going beyond synthesis alone, the Korg ARP 2600 FS also features a spring reverb tank and a pair of integrated monitor speakers.

You also get the comprehensive versatility of a vintage modular system. You can adjust your sound with ring modulation, lag and voltage processors, an envelope follower, audio preamp, a clock-aple switch, noise source and more.

You also have a sample and hold module, signal inverters, an auxiliary mixer and a set of parallel-wired/multi jacks.

Streamlined Patch Bay Performance

While older modular synths required 1/4" jacks and patcgh cords, the ARP 2600 uses the smaller 1/8" jack size. As a result, you can fit more patch points in the same amount of space, giving you even more versatility.

To make it easier to use while keeping the main panel clear, most of the patch points have been arranged in a single row beneath the controls of the individual sound modules.

Newly Improved 3620 Keyboard

For this limited edition release of the ARP 2600, Korg have enhanced the functionality of the 3620 Keyboard while staying true to the original design.

Featuring 49 full-size keys with aftertouch, portamento and duophonic performance, this keyboard captures the nuances of your playing and allows you to play two keys at once.

You can even use an optional foot switch to lock the interval between any two notes without retuning the oscillators during your performance.

A flexible Arpeggiator has also been added, allowing you to define a pattern that ca be manually sequenced and played back.

As before, you have the Pitch Bend knob and Two Octave Up/Two Octave Down Transpose switch for quick adjustment of your sound.

Assortment of Oscillators

The ARP Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCO) boast extremely stable tuning.

What's more, all thre oscillators feature Initiial Tuning and Fine Tuning sliders so you can set them to your exacting specifications.

Plus, each oscillator can be designated as an LFO modulating oscillator or audio oscillator.

Each oscillator generates multiple wave shapes at once including Sawtooth, Square, Triangle, Sine and Pulse.

Fantastic Filter

A 4-pole oltage Controlled Filter (VCF) is on board the ARP 2600, and offers a roll-off curve of -24dB per Octave.

Much like the oscillators, the ARP 2600's filter also features a Fine Tuning slider which you can use to precisely control the pitch of a self-rsonating filter.

Throughout its lifespan, the ARP 2600 underwent a variety of changes. With the Filter Type switch, you can choose to have the character of either earlier or later models of the ARP 2600.

Awesome Amplifier

Powering your sound, the Korg ARP 2600 FS synthesizer features a Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA) which brings your signal level up for output.

Featuring both Lonear and Exponential control inputs and with an Initial Gain setting providing continuous output at the highest setting, the ARP 2600's amp has got you covered.

After the amp, the ARP 2600's singal passes through the Stereo Mixer section, the ARP 2600's internal Spring Reverb tank and then goes on to the main outputs, headphone jack and integrated speakers.
