An incredible successor to the already amazingly popular KROSS, the KROSS 2 is an amazingly compact and portable workstation.

Despite the fact that it is ultra-lightweight, compact and able to run on batteries, the KROSS 2 is a dramatic improvement over the original KROSS synthesizer.

With more than a thousand preset sounds and expansion PCM memory being added along with a new pad sampler and USB audio/MIDI interface functionality, the KROSS 2 is an incredible new take on this awesome synth workstation.

Over 1000 Widely Varied Preset Sounds

Korg's new KROSS 2 has expanded the polyphony from 80 to 120 voices and features a dramatic increase in internal programs from 809 to 1075.

Multi-layered pianos, electric pianos, beautifully thick and rich strings and much more, mean that the KROSS 2 will perfectly perform in any band.

A new range of drum kits are included making the KROSS 2 even more suited to contemporary styles such as those found in EDM.

Built in PCM Memory and High Quality EDS-i Sound Engine

Following the release of the KROSS 2 there will be a number of optional libraries that you can download to expand the KROSS 2's internal sounds to increase your performance potential and with 128MB of built-in expansion PCM memory you'll be prepared for anything.

The High-quality EDS-i Enhanced Definition Synthesis-integrated sound engine, as found in KORG's professional synthesizers has been installed Allowing you to use a total of seven effects units simultaneously; five insert and two master.

134 high-quality effects, including classics such as delay and reverb as well as amp modelling, vintage effect units and a vocoder, giving you huge potential for sonic sculpting and performance.

Amazing Sampling Function and Pad Sampler

Unique in its class, the KORG KROSS 2 is features a sampling function providing up to 16 playable pads.

You're able to record the input from the LINE IN jack and assign a stereo sample of up to 14 seconds to each of the pads, with the ability to trigger four pads simultaneously.

The sample waveform can be edited using start/end loop point settings and normalise functions. You can even resample within the KROSS 2 and assign long audio files to the pads from an SD card so there's a huge set of sampling options and all without requiring any additional, external equipment.

Ultra-Lightweight and Compact, Portable Body with Battery Operation Option

KORG have designed the KROSS 2 to really improve on the portability and mobility of the KROSS series.

This 88-key version of the KROSS 2 also features the new addition of an accessory compartment that is perfect for storing spare batteries and cables.

YOu'll also find that the battery panel is now conveniently located on the front too.

It is extremely powerful efficient with up to seven long hours of battery life when using six AA batteries.

What's more, the KROSS 2 looks great too. With its super matte black colour and high-quality rubberised finish, it has an amazing aesthetic and durable body that's even feels high quality to the touch.

The rear panel KORG logo is also fully illuminated for an extra touch of visual flair when performing on stage.

Mic Connection and LINE INPUT

With the built in ¼" phone MIC IN jack you can connect a microphone directly, without having to bring along a separate mixer for live performance. Using the integrated vocoder function you can get that awesome vocoder sound with lightning speed b way of the realtime control section.

A LINE INPUT stereo mini-jack is also provided which is great for connecting up an audio device of your choice or for further sampling options.

USB Audio Interface Function

Not only does the KROSS 2 work as a USB MIDI interface, KORG have added in USB audio interface functionality.

By simply connecting the KROSS 2 to your PC or Mac you can record directly o your DAW or even play in conjunction with your iPad or iPhone.

You can even use the KORG Module high-quality sound module app as an external sound module to be played from the KROSS 2 or perform with backing tracks created with the Korg Gadget DAW app, all just by connecting with a single cable.
