The Keo Percussion Nicko McBrain Boomer 10” Practice Pad is Keo’s first signature series practice pad made for the Iron Maiden Sticksman.

Nicko McBrain Signature Pad

Keo Percussion is an offshoot of the British Drum Company who produce a range of high-end British built drum kits and snare drums. The Keo range features a variety of percussion instruments and drum kit accessories from tambourines, shakers and Cajons to snare dampeners, cymbal felts and practice pads.

Designed in conjunction with the internationally respected metal drummer, Nicko Mcbrain, the “Boomer” pad is the first product in Keo Percussion’s Signature Series range.

Made to meet the specifications of the Iron Maiden Sticksman, the boomer pad features a natural gum rubber surface, a rimshot base plate, non-slip foam bottom and an engraved signature plate.

Natural Gum Rubber

The 5mm Natural Gum Rubber playing surfaces is coloured red in keeping with the Boomer / Iron Maiden logo and has been specifically selected to offer optimal rebound and a responsive playing feel.

Engineered Base Plate

The 16mm Engineered High Density Fibreboard black baseplate features an inbuilt “hoop” feature for realistic rimshot playing. The base is also engraved with mock tension rod detailing, Nicko “Boomer” McBrain name at the top and the Keo logo at the bottom for an overall professional aesthetic with superb attention to detail.

Non-Slip Foam

The bottom of the base plate is fitted with a 5mm non-slip foam to ensure secure positioning of the pad on flat surfaces.

Engraved Signature Nameplate

The underside of the pad is finished off with an Engraved Signature Series Nameplate. The plate features the Made In Britain logo, Nicko’s signature and the Keo Percussion Logo all of which are laser cut into the birch wood disc for a classy finishing touch.
