• Soft Focus - Back in the 80s these was the Yamaha FX500 rack-mounted multi-effects processor which featured an immensely popular Soft Focus reverb patch - this mode is a lush, surreal recreation of that patch. Adjusting the DECAY control in this mode will change both decay time of the reverb and the Feedback for the dual delay, whilst DEPTH controls the depth of all 4 chorus voices.
• Reverse (Reverse Reverb) - DECAY for this mode switches between 8 different fixed delay times, from a fast 150ms up to a whopping half a second, whilst DEPTH sets just how deep the automatic "trem bar" effect is pushed. This section takes inspiration from two of the most popular rack-mount reverbs of the 80s and 90s - the SPX90 and the Midiverb II.
• Hall (Hall Reverb with Ascending Shimmer) - This section is essentially Hall Reverb with the output fed into an Octave Up effect, which then feeds back into the reverb's input to create an infinitely ascending octave feedback loop. The DEPTH control will alter just how noticeable the pitch effect is.

On the Delay side of this pedal you get a three-way switchable modulation that accesses plenty of analog textures, giving you carefully voiced echoes that sit well in the mix whether clean or matched to your favourite drive/fuzz.

• Off - No modulation, for classic, analog-style delay sounds.
• Deep - Heavy, swirling modulation is added to the delay trails.
• Light - Softer, gentle modulation than the Deep option.

The Rate, Blend, and Repeats knobs can be used in conjunction with the mode switch to open up a whole new world of delay sounds with the Parallax Spatial Generator.
