Thankfully, Robert Keeley and his team of geniuses over at Keeley Electronics have developed the BubbleTron - a boutique combination of Phaser, Random Synth filter, and Dynamic Flange (inspiread heavily by the MixMic DynaFlanger, as used extensively by Frank Zappa).

Versatile, and Easy to Use

Featuring an intuitive set of controls alongside three unique modes of operation, the BubbleTron manages to help capture some of Zappa's most iconic guitar solos, especially when using the dynamic flanger mode.

Dynamic Flanger

Inspired, as stated earlier, by the phenomenal MicMix DynaFlanger, this effect starts and stops based on your pick attack or envelope, rather than (as with more conventional Flangers) running continuously. This flanger mode also offers you the choise between Positive and Negative feedback, thanks to the FDBK control, opening up a whole new world of sound options for you, and the Sensitivity control lets you choose just how delicately you need to play for the effect to start.

DynaMo Phase

This circuit is actually two different phasers, one of which has a user-definable LFO, and the other of which is a true Dynamic Phaser (as with the Flanger, this starts and stops based on your pick attack). Either run both phasers simultaneously, or simply turn the Rate Control off and run the Dynamic Phaser on its own!

Synth Filter

This is the only non-dynamic effect mode in this pedal, but that doesn't affect its usability in any way. Make full use of the Shape control to determine the different ramps or random nature of the pedal, or even adjust the Sensitivity Control for an array of vintage synth and keyboard style sounds.
