Crafting the JN Guitars Bessie
Unusual for a guitar at this price point, the JN Bessie has a Solid Spruce top.
While most cheap acoustic guitars are made with all laminate wood, the JN Guitars Bessie defies expectation with its solid top providing a beautifully resonant tone which will sound better and better with age.
Being an auditorium style guitar, the Bessie electro-acoustic is comfortable to play and has great projection.
A cutaway in the body of the guitar allows for easy reach of the higher frets.
Mahogany is used for the neck which sports a traditional Rosewood fretboard featuring 20 frets.
ABS binding on the neck and body of the guitar keep it secure and well protected while adding some extra visual flair.
High Quality Electronics and Hardware
Allowing you to plug in and play loud, the JN Guitars Bessie electro-acoustic guitar has been fitted with a CL4-EQ system so you can start playing gigs straight away.
Designed by B-Band, the CL4-EQ preamp has a built-in equaliser that allows you to sculpt your sound to your liking.
You will find you can adjust the bass, middle and treble frequencies. There's also a presence knob, a phase control button and a volume control so you've got full control over your sound.
There's also a built-in chromatic tuner with an LED display. This is great for when you're gigging as you can tune on the fly and don't have to worry about taking along a separate tuner with you.
Furthermore, there's a low battery indicator light built into the CL-4 system so you'll know when it's time to change batteries and avoid a nightmare situation when you're playing on stage.
A Rosewood bridge facilitates transfer of vibration from your strings to the resonating Solid Spruce top of the JN Bessie while an under saddle transducer captures your playing sound for a fantastic plugged-in live performance.
Both the saddle and nut are bone, giving you a nice, organic and bright sound with the saddle being compensated to ensure precise intonation across all of the strings.
On the headstock, you'll find six diecast nickel machine heads allowing for precise tuning of your strings.
