Small Scale Construction

Making it perfect for younger people or those who require a smaller guitar, the JS Series RR Minion JS1X has been made to a 2/3 scale and for those that usually play full size guitars, since the RR Minion JS1X features the high-quality build, sound and features you'd expect from Jackson guitars, it even works great as a travel guitar.

The striking V-shaped body of the guitar has been crafted from Poplar and really stands out compared to your standard electric guitars.

A Maple neck has been bolted on and it features graphite reinforcement rods making for an extra secure build while guarding against warping.

Atop the neck is a 12" radius, brand new Amaranth fretboard (often referred to as Purpleheart) that features 24 jumbo frets along with classic Jackson sharkfin position inlays helping you to find your way around.

High-Output Humbuckers

Giving the RR Minion its powerful voice that simply defies its diminutive stature is a set of Jackson high output humbucking pickups.

Found in both the neck and bridge position, these pickups give you a tough and beefy sound, great for playing heavier styles of music.

A three-position blade allows you to choose how you would like to use the pickups - the bridge or neck pickup individually or a combination of the two.

Keeping things simple so you can get the perfect the sound with ease, two knows allow you to adjust the overall tone and volume of your output.

Quality Hardware

At the headstock are six high quality Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines allowing for quick and precise tuning of your strings.

Down on the body is a 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles, keeping your strings aligned and allowing for perfect intonation.
