Giant Sound in a Small Package

Specifically designed with younger players in mind, every feature on the JS Series Dinky Minion JS1X serves a purpose: the body is constructed out of poplar wood, which is both robust and relatively light weight, and has been contoured for a comfortable fit.

The smooth, low-profile maple neck with its 24 jumbo frets has been constructed so that having smaller hands won't obstruct your playing, and the rear-angled headstock is angled that way to deliver evenly distributed string tension (which actually reduces playing fatigue, meaning you can practice for that bit longer before having to stop).

All in all this guitar plays just as well as one of its bigger siblings, but is much more accessible for wannabe-shredders with smaller hands!

High Powered Pickups

Jackson have certainly come a long way with their factory-standard pickups in recent years, producing the kind of electronics previously only seen on much more expensive guitars. 

The High-Output Humbuckers housed in the Jackson JS Series Dinky Minion certainly fit into this category, out-performing many of their competitors in several ways. 

Tone-wise, they are most definitely suited more towards playing heavier music styles (sounding quite "trebly" at times, depending on your amp settings), but that doesn't mean you won't be able to rip out some killer Blues or classic Rock licks should you get the urge.  Both pickup outputs are controlled via the Master Volume and Master Tone controls, giving you the chance to choose the perfect tone for your situation.
