Building the JS Series Kelly
Poplar wood has been used for the body of the Jackson JS Kelly JS32T with its characteristically light weight making for a comfortable guitar that’s easy to rock out with on stage.
The body design of a Jackson Kelly is very distinctive and exudes attitude – perfect for putting on an unforgettable performance.
The shoulder design allows for easy reach of the highest frets too which is great for guitar solos.
Bolt-On Speed Neck
Attached to the awesome looking body of the JS Series Kelly JS32T is a bolt-on Maple speed neck which boasts graphite reinforcement. This gives it rock-solid stability and combats warping.
What’s more, because it is bolted onto the body of the Jackson Kelly JS32T, you get increased control along with improved attack and sustain.
The neck holds an Amaranth fretboard which has a 12” – 16” radius. This gives you a more rounded playing area towards the nut which is great for fat riffs and comfortable chording.
As you move higher up the frets, the radius flattens out, allowing for super-fast guitar solos and deep, wide bends without fretting out.
High-Output Humbuckers
Of course, with an electric guitar as visually striking as the Jackson Kelly JS32T, you need some full-force tone to back it up.
Supplying you with the awesome voice this incredible electric guitar deserves is a set of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups.
These pickups provide powerful, clear tone with all the body you need for chunky riffs and searing solos.
With the 3-position toggle, you can choose between using either one of the two humbuckers or both at once.
Further tone tailoring comes in the form of Master Volume and Master Tone controls with dome-style knobs.
Adding to the great looks of this stunning guitar, the pickups feature black and white zebra covers.
High Quality Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Jackson JS Series Kelly JS32T is a Jackson TOM-style string-through-body bridge.
This compensated TOM-style bridge is adjustable so you can easily get perfect intonation for each string and enjoy dynamic response along with incredible sustain.
Up on the headstock there are six Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines offering secure tuning of your strings.
Adding to the super-cool aesthetic of the JS Series Kelly guitar, all the hardware, right down to the strap buttons, is kept black.
