Easy To use
Feauring a 3-band, fully parametric EQ, a mid-frequency switch, and controls for Volume (total output) and Fuzz (amount of fuzziness), dialing in your favourite fuzz sound couldn't be easier.
In addition to this you get 3 smaller controls for the onboard Octave circuit, allowing you to choose how prominent the octafve effect it, how well it's blended in with your other signal, abd the Oct control, which lets you choose just how much fuzz/octave the pedal produces.
Tip: dialling the Blend control fully counter-clockwise causes the circuit to act as a Boost, which is great for pushing the front end of the Fuzz circuit even further.
Both the Octave and Fuzz circuits can be activated individually or together, thanks to their own independent switches.
Changing the Plug-In
This pedal ships with two separate Plug-In modules: Modern Fuzz (which is pre-installed) and Fuzz Classic/Vintage (which can be manually installed by yourself).
With Modern Fuzz you get a superb, analog-style fuzz unit that goes from vintage (at lower settings) to snarling spitting fuzz (at high settings) and everything in between.
Fuzz Classic/Vintage, on the other hand, gives you that classic 'smiley face' fuzz sound, with lower gain and a looser/softer feel than its modern counterpart.
As if that wasn't enough: switching between them couldn't be easier. Simply unscrew the pedal's bacplate, remove the module that's installed, and plug in the other one - it's really that simple!
