MIDI-Controllable Optical Compressor

With the Jackson Audio Bloom V2 MIDI you get a three-fold device that can manipulate the dynamics of your guitar.

This pedal features a precisely-tuned optical compression, a 3-band EQ, and a boost/sustain circuit, all of which can be activated separately or in tandem with one another.

Optical Limiting Circuit

Within the Bloom V2 there's an optical limiting circuit that is inspired by the golden-age of vacuum tube circuit compressors.

Whilst you can go with a very aggressive response, the compressor circuit is at its best when used subtly to polish off any rough edges from your sound.

Auxiliary Compressor

In addition to this, there's a second auxiliary compressor circuit that's identical to the main one, which features two internal trimmers for Comp and Volume.

This circuit works in series ahead of the main compressor, making notes sustain while still remaining clear and clean.

Boost It Up

If you want a little more than just the compression, and need a little extra "oompf" for your sound, the Bloom V2 also features a high quality Boost circuit that can work in two ways.

First off, you can set it to a regular "set and forget" boost effect, which is always on and performs at the same level.

However, if you hold the footswitch down, the Bloom circuit will slowly ramp up the level set by the Boost, allowing you to increase the sustain on held notes, or perfectly match dynamics on the fly.

3-Band EQ

As if all of that wasn't enough, the Bloom V2 also come equipped with a studio-grade, 3-band EQ circuit based on the legendary Baxandall EQ found on countless studio recording devices.

This EQ hits all the frequencies a guitarist desires, with all of the extreme highs and lows removed at even the highest settings.

Natural Touch Response

This pedal is perfect for players who don't normally use compression, but are seeking that classic "mastered" response normally found on professional productions.

Add into this the MIDI control of the individual circuits' bypass features, and the overall Bloom level, and you have one of the most versatile compressor pedals ever produced.
