Excellent Crafting
The body of the Ibanez SR505EL is made from okoume with imbues your tone with warm, fat low end. The cutaway shape of the body allows for easy reach of the upper frets if you want to get adventurous with your playing too.
With the extended neck joint and cutaway shape of the Ibanez SR505EL left handed bass's body, you get easy reach of the upper frets for when you want to get more adventurous with your playing too.
Fitted to the body of the SR505EL 5-string left handed bass guitar is an Accu-Cast B505 bridge with adjustable saddles allowing you to customise the string spacing.
Versatile Electronics
Giving the Ibanez SR505EL left handed bass its fantastic tone is a set of two Bartolini BH2 pickups in a dual-coil configuration which boast a lower resonant frequency and balanced, warm response along with a tighter bottom end and fuller midrange.
You can shape your sound to perfection using the onboard Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ. Not only does this have separate adjustment for the bass, middle and treble frequencies but there's a 3-way mid-frequency switch which provides even more precise tonal control.
Furthermore, there's an EQ bypass switch which allows for passive-only operation.
