With a host of switches and knobs allowing you to do all manner of things from treble/boost cuts, dialing in piezo tone, seperate volume controls for both the bridge and neck pickup, this bass is up for literally anything.

What's a Fretless Bass?

A fretless bass is exactly what it sounds like - a bass guitar without frets. The trend for Fretless basses kicked off in the early 70's, with certain players literally removing the fret wire from their instruments and filling in the holes, and so companies began making them as standard.

With the absence of frets, you can put much more emphasis on sliding between notes, and adding in some nice vibrato - similar to what you could achieve on an upright bass.

If you're unhappy with the sound generated by the standard strings on this bass, simply change them for some flat wounds for an even more authentic upright experience.
