Incredible Goldenboy Finish - The excellently crafted body is made from Alder for a tight low end and focused midrange, and features deep cutaways allowing for an unfettered reach of the highest frets - perfect for the virtuosic style playing of Satriani. In addition to this, and honoring the world-renowned Joe Satriani Signature Series, this beautiful Goldenboy finish was developed.
Unsurpassed Playability - In true Ibanez fashion the neck and fingerboard on this guitar are expertly-designed to allow your fingers to liberally glide over each and every note. In addition to this the frets have been given Prestige Fret Edge Treatment, making your note and chord transitions as fluid as possible.
Signature Electronics - This guitar features a trio of Joe Satriani signature pickups, in the shape of two DiMarzio Satch Track single coil sized Humbuckers at the neck and middle, and a DiMarzio FRED humbucker at the bridge. Each of these pickups features independent activation controls, and at the pull of the Tone pot will split into Single Coil mode for increased note clarity.
Superior Hardware - The original Ibanez Edge Tremolo/Bridge unit has long been a favourite of Joe Satriani's, so it's no surprise to see it on the Ibanez JS2GD.
