Poplar Body
The GRX40 features a poplar body fitted with a Maple GRX neck and a 22 Medium Fret Jatoba fretboard, with white dot inlays.
This poplar body resonates with a tight bright output, with plenty of warmth and plucky midrange. The neck is comfortable, presenting the beginner student with confidence in learning the notes and fretboard positions.
The T-106 tremolo bridge is a simple tremolo bridge ideal for beginners. Effective for trem work and manipulation.
HSS Pickups
The GRX40 GIO comes with a HSS Pickup configuration set up making this student guitar extremely tonally versatile. Two Infinity single coils for crystal clear leads and mids, and a Infinity humbucker for a raucous bite for those rock licks and hard metal players.
This pickup combination makes the GRX40 one of the most adaptable guitars on the market at this price point.
Electronics include a 5-way selector switch for a variety of tonal options and a volume and tone knob, right at your fingertips.
