4 Functions In One Pedal
More than just a simple Wah, the Hotone Soul press II can actually offer four different functions to your setup - yes, that's right, 4! These are as follows:
WAH: Wah mode is for all the cry babies out there, we're talking about the legit vocal sweep and lush harmonics of the wah's classic era. The Tone control allows you to adjust the wah filter frequency range whilst Q adjusts the filter frequency width, for a wide array of different wah sounds.
VOL: If musicians the world over agree on one thing, it is their common hatred of the "volume sucking" quality of passive volume pedals. Soul Press II's Volume mode is an active volume design, which keeps your tone pristine. Fine tune the bottom end with the volume range control.
WAH/VOL: This mode combines both the Volume and Wah modes together, allowing you to switch between the two whenever you want! Please note that the effect cannot be bypassed when this mode is activated.
EXP: Expression pedal mode can run without a battery or external power supply. It is compatible with most digital effects and connects with a standard stereo 1/4" jack. This mode also supports keyboards and other instrument that use expression control.
Each of the three active modes on this pedal can be chosen via the switch on the right-hand side of the pedal, whilst the Soul Press II's LED will light up as the appropriate colour, to indicate which function is active - Blue for Wah, Green for Vol, Green/Blue for Wah/Vol.
