Building on the success of the Viking, the Super Viking model incorporates essential features from Hagstrom's highly-regarded Super Swede guitar, all while retaining the Viking's unique character. A standout feature inherited from the Super Swede is the longer 25.5-inch (648mm) scale length, allowing for effortless drop tunings while preserving the instrument's brilliance and resonance even in lower tonal ranges.
Furthermore, the Super Viking's new H-50C humbucker pickups, housed in an open frame design, offer unparalleled sonic versatility. The push/pull tone pots provide independent switching between humbucker and single coil modes, greatly expanding the range of tonal possibilities and opening up new sonic vistas to explore.
