Crafted with a lightweight Poplar solid body and finished with a glossy sheen, this guitar exudes elegance and style. The matching headstock adds a touch of sophistication to its overall aesthetic.
Tonally Exquisite - Equipped with a versatile HSS pickup configuration, the Surfliner Deluxe offers a wide range of tonal possibilities. The bridge position is fitted with the powerful Guild HB-2 humbucker, designed to recreate the warm and rich sound of vintage Guild humbuckers. In the middle and neck positions, two DeArmond Aerosonic single-coil pickups provide chiming and articulate tones. Experience the seamless transition between different pickup combinations using the classic 5-way blade switch, allowing you to effortlessly shift between rhythm and solo tones.
Superb Playability - The Surfliner Deluxe introduces Guild's first-ever roasted maple neck, providing a dark aged appearance with enhanced stability and stiffness. The bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays not only adds to its visual allure but also ensures a smooth playing experience. The satin-finished C-shaped neck offers a comfortable and natural feel, making it a joy to play.
Reliable Hardware - One of the standout features of the Surfliner Deluxe is the newly developed Guild Floating Vibrato Tailpiece (GFVT). This innovative tailpiece allows for a broad range of vibrato effects, from subtle flutters to deep swells, expanding your sonic possibilities. With the nylon insert and easily accessible tension screw, you have complete control over the bar tension, tailoring it to your personal preference. The embossed "G" logo on the tailpiece is a nod to Guild's classic DNA.
