Authentic Gretsch power and articulation!
The new G6636T Players Edition White Falcon is a slightly smaller version of the classic Gretsch Falcon. Sporting a smaller 16" double-cutaway body with sparkle binding and a chambered spruce centre block, this hollow bodied guitar resonates freely for a more organic tone. The lower neck set on this model makes for greater playing comfort, whilst the studded Adjusto-Matic bridge provides you with pinpoint intonation and great tone. Working in conjunction with the Bigsby Tremolo unit, the bridge slightly "rocks" with the movement of the strings - reducing friction and adding tuning stability!
The Electronics
The dual High-Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups provide you with that authentic Gretsch power and articulation. These humbuckers are designed specifically to filter out the electronic hum normally associated with single-coil pickups, while adding a warmer tone and a significant increase in output and sustain. The treble-bleed circuit helps to grant you a more uniform tone at all volume levels, whilst the No-Load tone control effectively allows the guitar's raw tone resonate through once it's dialled in to 10.
