Unlike with a full hollow bodied guitar, the Gretsch G5655TG comes equipped with a chambered Spruce centre block that runs from the neck to the tailpiece.
This lightweight addition adds a naturally dynamic resonance to the guitar's sound, but also works to eliminate any unwanted feedback - perfect for when you want to crank up the gain.
Sleek and Versatile Neck
Whether your playstyle of choice involves blistering lead run, languid open chords, or switching from one to the other and back again, the Nato neck on the G5655TG can accommodate you.
With it's thin "U"-shaped profile, and 12"-radius bound laurel fretboard, this neck is as versatile as a modern player could need, and thanks to the classic Big Block inlays it even looks the part too.
