Classic Gretsch Design
Just like the Gretsch Jets of yesteryear, the G5230T comes equipped with a pair of Black Top Filter'Tron humbuckers.
These pickups work perfectly in tandem with the Jet FT's chambered body, and produce a wide, balanced and transparent tone.
Their sound is often described as loud and punchy, but don't let this deter you - even at high gain levels, these pickups produce a remarkable amount of definition.
In technical terms, the Black Top Filter'Trons produce full, responsive lows and mids, with just enough high end sparkle to retain their famous levels of clarity.
High-Quality Electronics
In addition to independent volume controls for each pickup, the Gretsch G5230LH has both a Master Tone and Master Volume pot.
Nestled snuggly within the circuitry of the Master Volume though is a Treble Bleed circuit, which allows you to adjust the guitars overall volume without negatively affecting your Treble output.
This system is designed to offer you intuitive control over your sound, allowing you to sculpt your ideal guitar tone with ease.
