Made especially for the Streamliner range of guitars, these high output pickups work perfectly with the semi-hollow body of the G2655 Streamliner.
Sonically they produce an articulately defined sound with a tight bass response, resulting in robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange - ideal for whether you're playing clean or with overdrive.
Classic Gretsch Control Setup
In true Gretsch tradition, the G2655 Streamliner comes complete with a familiar control knob layout. Not only will you find independent volume controls for each pickup, a 3-way pickup selector switch, and a Master Tone knob, but you also have an overall Master Volume control too, opening up a whole new range of sonic possibilities.
Centerblock Construction
Sitting within the guitar's body, and running the full length from tail to neck, there's a lightweight Spruce center block. This block not only reinforces the laminated Maple top and back of the guitar, but also eliminates unwanted feedback, meaning you can play at any volume on any stage!
High Performance
Not only is the body of this G2655 Streamliner Centerblock smaller than a typical Gretsch Semi-Hollow, but it's also sporting a sleek Nato neck. This neck features a thin "U"-shaped profile, and is topped with a 12"-radius bound Laurel fingerboard, making your playing experience extremely comfortable, whether you're playing simple chords or blistering lead licks.
