Featuring a Slim Taper neck profile, solid Mahogany body, Rosewood fingerboard, and a pair of P-90 pickups, this Gibson SG Special 2019 would make a fantastic addition to any guitar enthusiasts collection.
P-90 PickupsOriginally introduced in the early 1950s, the Gibson P90 singlecoil pickup is renowned for its raw powerful tone that helped to define that early electric blues and rock n' roll sound.
These high-output pickups (often referred to as Soapbars) are still considered a favourite amongst many of the world's top musicians, and produce a sweet tone that sits somewhere between a traditional single coil and a humbucker.
Slim Taper Neck ProfileA favourite amongst many Gibson players, the Slim Taper neck profile is arguably the most comfortable that the company offers. Fitting comfortably in your hand, this neck profile allows your fingers to have free reign over each and every corner of the fretboard, therefore helping to minimise fatigue during those long practice and studio sessions.
