A Classic Design Gets The "Tuxedo" Treatment - For this guitar Gibson have taken the classic SG design, and added the kind of aesthetics and electronics normally reserved for the iconic Les Paul Custom. The end result is a superb electric guitar, with incredible levels of playability, and classy "Tuxedo"-style aesthetics that are sure to impress.
Slick Playability - In true SG fashion, this SG Custom has been equipped with a super-smooth-playing Mahogany neck, which sports a 1960 Slim Taper profile and a Bound Solid Ebony fingerboard that your fingers will liberally glide over. In addition to this, the fingerboard sports a set of Block inlays crafted from Mother of Pearl, which contrast beautifully with the naturally dark aesthetic of the Ebony.
Rock-Solid Hardware - A Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece, and Grover Kidney tuners combine to deliver an ultra-reliable level of tuning stability, whilst the medium-jumbo frets and ebony fingerboard allows you to project chords and individual notes with clarity and sustain.
Versatile Humbuckers - A pair of Gibson humbucker pickups - 490R and 498T at the Neck and Bridge positions respectively - compliment a huge range of tonal options, allowing you to go from clean jazz, to overdriven blues, through to the heaviest distortion tones with ease.
