Iconic Gibson Guitar Shape - Gibson's legendary round-shouldered J-45 Dreadnought is one of the most popular acoustic guitar shapes of the last century. For this new addition to Gibson's "Core" lineup, they have opted to fit a Thermally Aged Sitka Spruce top piece over a back and sides of Solid Mahogany, resulting in the kind of warm and vibrant voice heard on countless 20th Century Folk and Americana hits.
12th Fret Neck Join - Despite the full 25" scale length of this guitar, the neck has been fitted to the body at the 12th Fret rather than the 14th. This results in a rounder, more full-bodied tone than usual, along with increased playing comfort.
LR Baggs Electronics - Thanks to the equipped LR Baggs VTC undersaddle pickup and preamp on this guitar, it's ready for both Stage and Studio use each and every time you pick it up. In addition to this, discrete soundhole-mounted Volume and Tone controls let you alter your output on the fly.
Hardshell Case Included - To keep this guitar safe as you travel to and from your shows, Gibson have included a deluxe hardshell case. This case features an internal accessory compartment for you to keep your spare strings, tuner, straps, and more close to hand at all times!
