Initially released in 1942, and known for its full, balanced sound with warm bass and great projection, the J-45 has long been one of Gibson’s best-selling acoustic guitars.
Now, as part of the GIbson Acoustic Modern Collection, you can get your hands on this incredible 12-stringed variant of the iconic workhorse, and add a whole knew dimension of sound to your performances.

Featuring classic 'workhorse' materials, including a Sitka Spruce Top and Select Mahogany back and sides, along with multi-ply top and single-ply back binding, this J-45 Standard 12-string exudes Gibson class from every pore.
You'll hear the beautiful resonance from the Sitka Spruce Top. With a determined projection and tones full of richness.
The back and sides crafted with Mahogany. Offering great volume and clear, warm and airy trebles.
The traditional hand scalloped advanced x-style bracing reaffirms the sustain and resonce of this beautifully bodied acoustic.
A SlimTaper neck attached to the body of this acoustic, whilst a traditional Rosewood Fingerboard is fitted.

Voiced specifically for acoustic guitar, the VTC gives you studio quality sound with analogue warmth, when you perform on stage.
Low, mid and high frequency compressors are built in and respond in real time to your playing dynamics.
For more control, the pickup itself is designed to mirror the movement of your soundboard while you play, whilst discrete volume and tone controls allow you to easily sculpt your sound on the go.
