Gibson's new G-Series (officially named the Generation Line) have been specially designed to offer that fabled Gibson craftsmanship at an accessible premium price point.
Exquisite Tonewoods
For the new G-45 Standard, Gibson have opted to combine a solid Sitka Spruce top, with a Walnut back and sides. This tonewood combination delivers a crisp, articulate sound, with plenty of rich overtones, making it ideal for strummers and fingerpickers alike.
Fishman Electronics
If you'd like to step things up a notch and perform with an amplifier, or through a front-of-house PA system, then the G-45 has got you covered. Built into the guitar is a Fishman Sonicore pickup, with a Fishman Sonitone Preamp system.
These electronics allow you to simply plug and play, and the preamp controls are even discretely hidden away just inside the guitar's soundhole.
