Despite coming from the same ES Family, the Gibson ES-345, seen here with a classic Sixties Cherry finish, is a Semi-Hollow Guitar that boasts a number of aesthetic enhancements over their flagship ES-335.
Premium-Grade Semi-Hollow Guitar
Originally produced in 1958 as an up-scale take on the ES-335, the ES-345 offered an array of new tonal options thanks to a multi-position Varitone switch and optional stereophonic outputs, alongside premium-grade appointments such as gold-plated hardware and unique fret markers.
Now back in production with aesthetic upgrades and electronics that more-closely match those on the ES-335, the Gibson ES-345 would make a superb addition to any players collection.
Bound, 3-ply semi-hollow body, with a gorgeous Sixties Cherry finish
Sleek Mahogany neck, capped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard
Two toneful, Calibrated T-Type humbucker pickups
Includes deluxe hardshell case
Limited Lifetime Warranty upon registration with Gibson
Top Notch Construction
Crafted with a thermally engineered maple centerblock and thermally engineered quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing, players will be impressed by the lightweight feel and expanded range of tonal capabilities.
The body is wrapped in a multi-ply binding, and the bound fingerboard has Split Parallelogram inlays exclusive to this model in the ES series.
Premium-Appointments
The ES-345 is equipped with a variety of high-end appointments - like a hand-wired control assembly with orange drop capacitors.
Gibson's new Calibrated T-Type humbucking pickups, Vintage Deluxe style tuners and lightweight aluminum ABR-1 bridge and stop bar tailpiece anchored with steel thumb-wheels and studs.
