This set of Gibsons Custombucker pickups remain one of the most historically accurate recreations of Gibsons highly revered '50's PAF style original pickups.
Ceasing production in 1962, original PAF's remain close to impossible to get hold of.
Gibsons Custombuckers, combined with faithful vintage-styled electronics, effortlessly deliver on the promise of matching the original tone of the legendary '61 SG Standard.
Maestro Vibrola
In place of a stoptail end-piece, this Custom Shop Gibson 1961 SG Standard comes equipped with a vintage-style "Maestro Vibrola" vibrato.
This offers the option of smooth vibrato effects, allowing you to add subtle inflections and pitch bends to your playing.
