Classic Les Paul Body
As with the '50s original, the 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard has a body made from Mahogany. There is no weight relief so as to give you that original playing feel enjoyed by some of the greatest guitarists to ever have lived.
Fitted to the body with traditional hide glue is a 2-piece figured Maple top adding to the timeless beauty of this exquisite electric guitar.
The instantly recognisable body shape with its signature cutaway provides easy access to the higher frets for unobstructed guitar solos.
A nitrocellulose VOS vintage patina finish to the Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard gives it an authentically aged appearance.
Authentically Old School Neck
Giving you the same shape held in the hands by Keith Richards and countless other legendary guitarists, the solid Mahogany neck features an Authentic '59 Medium C-shape.
A traditional Rosewood fretboard has been fitted to the neck with hide glue and holds 22 historic medium-jumbo frets for authentic 1959 playability.
The fretboard is adorned with aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays for faithfully aged looks and classic style.
As in the original 1959 model, hide glue and a long tenon joint are used to fit the neck to the body.

On the body of the 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard, you'll find a no-wire ABR-1 bridge holding nickel-plated brass saddles backed up by a lightweight aluminium stop bar.
Together, this hardware ensures precise intonation, enhanced sustain and rock solid tuning stability.
Look to the headstock, and you'll find a set of Kluson single line, single ring tuning machines providing precise and secure tuning along with vintage aesthetics.
